Auditions

The Charlotte Civic Orchestra continues throughout the year to hold auditions to expand our pool of experienced and talented musicians.  All instruments are needed, especially strings.  Candidates will be asked to play:

• Two contrasting solo sections (lyrical and technical), or
• A movement from a solo work with contrasting sections.
• Some orchestral excerpts may be required, and if so, these will be mailed out prior to auditions upon request.
• Sight-reading may also be required.
