Heather Geiser has performed as principal violist with the Raleigh Civic Orchestra and the Raleigh Civic Chamber Orchestra. She was a member of the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra for two years and has been performing with the Charlotte Civic Orchestra for three years. She has always enjoyed having music as a central part of her life, and looks forward to passing on this passion to her 17 month old daughter.

Claudia Devereaux has been playing oboe since her sophomore year of high school after playing clarinet for nine years.   In 1996 she joined the Charlotte Civic Orchestra (formerly the Charlotte Repertory Orchestra).  Claudia is very active in the local Charlotte music community.  She has played with the Charlotte Philharmonic and is also  principal oboist for the Central Piedmont Community College pit orchestra and the Gardner Webb University orchestra.  In Claudia's words, " To be part of the Charlotte Civic Orchestra is a joy and I am thankful for the opportunity to perform with such a wonderful group of musicians."


  
Dean Kluesner

Dean Kluesner, composer (b. Iowa City, Iowa) holds a Masters in Music degree from Indiana University.  He is a veteran of LA studios and Las Vegas production shows.  He performed with artist such as Sammy Davis Jr. and Lou Rawls, and worked the Legends in Concert show in Las Vegas for many years.  He has composed symphonic and chamber works, written and produced 'Plastic', a full length musical (with wife Christy Kluesner), and written many scores for live theatrical productions.  Dean has twice received the Creative Loafing Award for Best Sound Design/Composition.  Dean's wrote the sound design/score for Actor's Scene/Unseen's CD, 'Miller's Court' (available on Amazon.com).  His arrangement of 'America the Beautiful' was performed by the Charlotte Civic Orchestra in 2007
