Why Support the Orchestra

The Charlotte Civic Orchestra has evolved from a small group of musicians who played for their own enjoyment into a seventy plus member volunteer orchestra comprised of musicians, teachers, and other professionals who are intent on keeping orchestral music relevant to our community. We believe that orchestral music is a gift to be shared across cultures and generations and makes for a richer more connected community.

The CCO reaches out to the community to share the universal gift of music with our low price ticketed events in a financially prudent approach. We balance our budget each year to make a little bit go a long way.

The Charlotte Civic Orchestra is a not-for–profit organization, and gratefully accepts donations from private donors and corporations alike.
