The Charlotte Civic Orchestra is Charlotte’s only civic orchestra. Made up of over 70 volunteer musicians from around the Charlotte metro area, the CCO, with its educational entertainment approach is able to break down traditional barriers that can limit exploration of symphonic music by new listeners. Come hear for yourself. Listen, Enjoy and Support your CCO.
The survival of this unique community orchestra depends on the community itself. Without your support, we can not exist. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution. We will acknowledge your gift in our concert programs with your consent.
We recently had to purchase a lot of percussion equipment. If you would like to donate to help cover the cost of this purchase, we would deeply appreciate it. You can either mail in your donation or donate via the PayPal link below.

Why Support the Orchestra
The Charlotte Civic Orchestra has evolved from a small group of musicians who played for their own enjoyment into a seventy plus member volunteer orchestra comprised of musicians, teachers, and other professionals who are intent on keeping orchestral music relevant to our community. We believe that orchestral music is a gift to be shared across cultures and generations and makes for a richer more connected community.
The CCO reaches out to the community to share the universal gift of music with our low price ticketed events in a financially prudent approach. We balance our budget each year to make a little bit go a long way.
The Charlotte Civic Orchestra is a not-for–profit organization, and gratefully accepts donations from private donors and corporations alike.
Double Your Contribution with Corporate Matching Gift Programs
Many corporations encourage donations by providing a matching gift program. Employees and retirees can support organizations at a lower cost with their employers assistance. Every dollar donated is matched by the corporation.
Contact your company’s matching gift administrator, human resources department or public relations office.
They will provide information about gift matching and instructions
